The new Mac mini 2013 is due for an update, and many factors come into play for its release date. Though, the Mac mini is frequently treated like a surplus stepchild by the Apple. There’re some reason to expect the new model to get special attention.
The first one is that the rise of Haswell Processor which gives Apple an opportunity to redesign Mac mini as a power efficient device. The second it that the new Mac Pro tower prefers the Apple is finally ready to redesign its non display computer models.
So what will the Mac mini look like in the 2013? The Apple might choose to retain the same sandwich tin style used for years.
But if it gets adventurous, new model might shrink to something probably not much wider than the Apple Tv box. It might also shift to the circular design more familiar to that of the new Mac Pro. But the power efficiency of Haswell gives Apple options.
As for the particular release date for new Mac mini, the late 2013 is a realistic expectation. But the Apple’s inconsistent schedules of Mac update make pinning down the accurate date tricky.
